About Pace Engineering
Pace Engineering is a privately owned multi discipline Mechanical Engineering company incorporated in 1992 and based in New Plymouth, Taranaki, the heart of the Oil & Gas Industry in New Zealand.
From modern well equipped purpose built premises Pace Engineering provides a total engineering service package to its broad client base including:

Workshops
Over 2000m2 of workshop capacity is situated on a total of 1.5 hectares of all weather lay down and yard space. Both fabrication and machine shops are serviced by 10 tonne gantry cranes and mobile lifting equipment including 3 mobile cranes.
Each workshop is furnished with up to date specialist equipment and a policy of constant reinvestment into additional company resources is a reflection of management desire to provide the most efficient and effective methods to carry out workshop activities.
Supply Partners
Local support infrastructure within a five kilometre radius includes steel merchants, NDT contractors, mobile crane contractors, transport and logistics suppliers, engineers merchants, international transport links and other supporting organisations.
Clientele
Pace Engineering Ltd has in place contracts to supply engineering services to large multi national organisations, petrochemical plant sites, oil and gas exploration companies, drilling contractors, metal extruders, quarrying contractors and local body water and waste water authorities.
Pace Engineering has developed specialist engineering support for a number of New Zealand metal extrusion companies. Significant investment has been undertaken to upgrade equipment, retain experience and knowledge in the installation (or removal), commissioning and maintenance of hydraulic metal extrusion presses up to and including 2500 tonne capacity as well as the manufacture and maintenance of all Press handling gear and ancillary components.
Compliance
Engineering procedures and quality control systems along with HSE systems are in use to ensure safe and compliant work place activities are maintained. An excellent record of low injury frequency and LTI's are maintained with OSH approved systems such as hazard identification management.
Our People
Our most important asset at Pace Engineering is our staff. We have a group of highly skilled and experienced tradesmen many of whom are long term employees. Our apprentice training is actively supported in all disciplines and the team is very competently supported from a modern administration centre by a dedicated and diversely experienced management and administration team.
