Since March 2010 Pace Engineering Ltd have been Sole New Zealand & Pacific region distributors for industrial Diesel generator manufacturers 'POWERMAX' by Huihe Technology of Wuxi, China.

Managing Director Steve Day and Specialist Equipment Manager Barrie Vivian visited the manufacturing facilities in early 2010 to meet with Company Director Mr. Bin Lu and Export Director Tony Zhu. This opportunity allowed Steve and Barrie the opportunity to inspect the build quality and attention to detail that satisfied Pace Engineering's requirements to sign a distributorship agreement. Steve and Barrie were warmly welcomed by Huihe Technology staff and experienced local Chinese culture and history.

From January 14-17th 2011, Pace Engineering hosted Mr. Bin Lu and Tony Zhu around New Zealand, ensuring they went away having partaken in the true 'Kiwi' experience. Steve Day and Mitchell Day collected Mr. Lu and Tony from Auckland airport and experienced some of the many attractions New Zealand has to offer including - a visit to the Tamaki Maori village where they experienced Maori culture and tried hungi food, the Rotorua Agridome where they saw New Zealand farm animals and had an opportunity to milk a cow!, Lake Taupo, a tractor ride up the Mokau beach, followed by a yachting experience around the New Plymouth foreshore topped off with a visit of Pace Engineering's facilities and visits to new and existing generator customers.

This visit allowed Pace Engineering and Powermax Generators to share knowledge and work together to continuously deliver high quality, affordable diesel generator sets to our customers.
