In mid November 2010, A team of 8 trades staff at Pace Engineering Ltd, led by Project Supervisor, Callan Day, were engaged by INEX Australia to install and commission a 2500 Tonne UBE Aluminium Extrusion Press in their new state of the art premises in Loganlea, South Brisbane, Australia.

Pace Engineering's track record and years of experience in Extrusion press installations held our team in high regard to deliver another successful installation on time and on budget.

At the lead up to Christmas, Pace Engineering made excellent progress, completing the installation of the UBE Press.

Early in the New Year, the team returned to the Brisbane operation to install the OMAV Handling gear and associated equipment completing the job to schedule with final commissioning taking place on the 19th March 2011.

Pace Engineering faced a number of challenges with this project, particularly working in hot and humid conditions, and ensuring all site contractors adhered and complied with Queensland Health and Safety regulations was no mean feat.

It is a testament to the Installation team to have returned to their families 100% safe and well with Nil Lost Time Injuries and deliver our client with a world-class facility.
