Pace Engineering Ltd won the Supreme Business Award when it was judged “Best Business in 2010” by delegates of the Westpac Taranaki Chamber of Commerce Business Development Committee…

Pace Engineering has been named Taranaki’s top business. The New Plymouth based engineering firm picked up a slew of awards at the Westpac Taranaki Chamber of Commerce Business Awards at the Hub in Hawera last night. Before being crowned “Westpac Supreme Business” it also collected the “Large Business” award, the “NZ Trade and Enterprise Export Award” and was highly commended in two other categories.
Pace Engineering Ltd, a multi disciplined mechanical engineering company incorporated in 1992 specialises in heavy machining and fabrication, portable on-site machining, engineering support, project management, design and consultancy services.
Methanex NZ was judged winner of the extra large business award while New Plymouth’s Robertson’s Pharmacy won the medium category. The small business award was won by Vetro Mediterranean Foods in New Plymouth.

More than a third of the 38 entries came from primary industries or engineering’s trades and manufacturing sector. The entrants put themselves through a rigorous judging process from which they receive valuable feedback. Well done to all entrants for having the courage to test yourself against your peers.
