Pace Engineering was engaged to manufacture new, and repair existing equipment, for a planned plant overhaul for a quarry at York Road, Stratford.
During this project, a new hopper bin and vibrating grizzlie screen were made at the Pace Fabrication workshops. Eccentric flywheels and bearing housings were added later in a design modification upgrade.
The Pace Engineering Machine shop manufactured a new rotating shaft assembly and spacer from which to mount the flywheels prior to assembly. They also refurbished a hydraulic tube and piston in the process.
A pair of fully synchronized twin 450KVA gensets were supplied by Pace Power and Air for primary and emergency power for the plant.
Pace Engineering worked collaboratively with all departments of its business to provide multi-faceted engineering services with guaranteed satisfaction.
